Season looking brighter
In a repeat of last season championship final the Predators met Lorien Caretakers, and the fans expected something spectacular once again, resulting in a whopping 39.000 spectators in a regular season match.

The Northland Predators won the coin toss and recieved the ball and then played the running game that they love, slowling pushing back the defenders and creating a safe pocket for Squishy wishy II eventually leaving to a late first half TD.

The caretakers then got the ball and tried a right side overload, but they simply didn't have the time to push all the way top the endzone, especially after a passing fumble.

Second half saw the Caretakers mirror the predators from first half, pushing across the line, and breaking through on their right assisted by a rock thrown by their fans. But the attack stalled, and Mr.T the predators Kroxigor saw an opening and managed to get up close to the ball carrier. After a bit of fighting all across the line the ball ended up on the Caretakers left, in the hands of a zombie no less, who wasn't stopped untill 1 foot from the predator endzone. But stopped he was, and the following brawl resulted in the ball going out of bounds and thrown back to the line of scrimmage.

After a couple of bounces and tackles the ball ended up in the hands of a Caretaker ghoul, who made a masterfull thrown from within 3 tackle zones, only to see it impaled on the helmet of the jumping saurus in front of him. Pavel Laurbær never knew what hit him, just that the entire team yelled at him to run, so he did and ended up in the Caretaker endzone just as the final whizzle sounded.

Slow start to Season II
After the loss in the Final against the Lorien Caretakers, the Predators started season II with new found hope, that this season would change things.

But in the opening moves after the first kickoff, those hopes were destroyed with the injury of Mr. T, the teams Kroxigor, and it only went downhill after that.

But despite the set back of the first half, the Predators regained their focus and managed to pull off a tie.

Predators could go all the way!
With two spectacular 3-1 wins in both the quarter- and semi-finals, the Northland Predators have made it clear that they are a serious contender for this seasons championship.

"I'm really proud of my guys this season. They've been through a lot of ups and downs, but we've been able to convert those early let-downs into learning experiences, that only made the team Stronger.

But reaching the final also has its consequences. The longer season takes its toll on the players, and we have therefore been forced to field a weaker team than normal for the final. But no matter the outcome of the final match, I'm proud that my guys got this far". Said Northland Raiders head coach.
